What is Plamotaku?

Plamotaku is a community platform built for fans of plastic models. Gundam, mecha, cars, aircraft, and everything in between. Whether you're a seasoned builder with hundreds of kits or just opened your first box, Plamotaku gives you the tools to track your collection, document your builds, and share your work with people who understand the hobby.

Built by a builder

Plamotaku was created out of a love for the hobby and a frustration with spreadsheets. It's designed to be the site we always wanted: clean, focused, and made for people who actually build.

There's something special about this hobby. You stay up too late finishing a panel line. You obsess over the right shade of gray. You spend more on tools than you planned and feel no regrets about it. This site is for all of that. The builds you're proud of, the kits still in the box, and the ones you bought because the box art was just too good to pass up.

Plamotaku is still growing, and so is the community around it. If you've ever posted a WIP photo hoping someone would notice, or left a tip in a thread for a total stranger, you're already part of what makes this hobby worth building a site for. This is my love letter to all of you.
